The Opera House - the buildings - new and old - have so much character and attitude
The was amazing - they are doing new construction of a hotel building but are using the existing facade of the building so the exterior walls of an existing building are braced to stay as the facade of the new building. so cool!
La Boqueria - the market was very close to our hotel and they had GREAT food. We had several meals there and had some of the best cafe con leche. I do love how the lady in the picture is smoking a cigarette and talking to the meat counter guy.... the place was just so alive....
I just kept taking pictures - everywhere you turn there was a cool view to be photographed.

More of the park
Park Guell and others
In Park Guell - the park was kick butt. i just wish it wasn't 100 degrees while we walked around. Of course the next day it was nice and overcast when we decided to do the indoor museums.
Self Portrait which i hope explains the funny looks on our faces - it's like we are saying - "did it take the picture yet"
Sitting on the biggest bench - it curves around the entire "platform"
The largest vending machine I have ever seen - it was in the metro. There was a lot, A LOT of walking around as well.
Construction is still going on outside and inside of the church

A few pics
A few pictures from our trip... Time has been flying by and it doesn't seem like it's been that long since we got here... too many things to do.... see family and have some fun.
At some ruins around my town (Kabile) - the ruins are from around 3rd century BC
Me taking pics while driving, well - riding in the car
Damon picking wild plums
At a winery that our friends took us to - VERY cool place. I love wine tasting in the morning.

- I have been a structural engineer for the last 10 years. But I discovered photography a little over a year ago and have had nothing but fun with it. I started this blog to keep my family in Bulgaria current (and so i don't have to email pictures to everyone) but now i use it for everything.
